i have never been inside a wal-mart store before today. i had to go in there on the way home from work to get some stupid thing for my wife's christmas grab-bag nonsense. anyway, i go inside and i felt like i was at a trailer park convention or in traffic court. these people are scary.

i thought walmart was the same as target but, i was sorely mistaken. if i ever have to go back there, i'll bring my banjo and wear overalls with no shirt so i'll fit in better.

You need to be dragging four kids behind you just to get in.

As you now know, there's a BIGGGGG difference. Wal Mart has the cheapest of the cheap shit (most now made in China despite Walmarts roots in "Made in the USA").

Don't get me started on the damage this shit corporation does to communities and the US as a whole.

Dude, but groceries are cheap, nicotine gum is cheap, they got a lot of the same stuff they sell at best buy, but cheaper. If you need something chances are it is there. I wouldn't buy clothes there though.

Man I guess this is just what people have to do that don't make fat cash. I think they say the average sports bettor makes 75K a year. Well, I make 30 and have two kids. I have to shop at Walmart. If I didn't, I would be a bad person.

Wow, I guess I'm trailer trash then. It's nice to see how some of you guys view us that don't happen to make a lot of money.

I go there as seldon as I can afford but their prices are cheap. I will give an example that anyone can check. We have cats and they have a device called Litter Maid that sells for $ 189.95 at Pet Smart and is never on sale. Price at WalMart ? $ 89.95 ! That is less than 1/2 the price !

I agree!! I hate that here in MD they don't sell groceries like in VA. They blow away the grocery store prices.

But you have to go in off peak hours like late at night to be able to get in and out at a decent amount of time

I buy most of my LIGHTNING gear at Walmart......and they have a
good array of sweat pants also at unbeatable prices.

Bathroom necessities are also a bargain at Walmart and buy most of mine there.

Have a SUPER WALMART only 1.45 miles from my front door..........can you say CONVENIANT!?

-FH-

ps- Good array of fishing tackle at terriffic prices also.

It's different around the country. Out in the sticks, they are the place that everyone goes for damn near everything(since they've put competing local mom & pop businesses out of business).

When you get into the burbs or hood, it's a much different story.

Made in the USA is a total JOKE!!!!!!!!

Some years ago I had a tiny bit of stock in K-Mart (Good old made in the USA store). They went belly up--saved by Sears. (But added a Q to their stock name---I got 0 dollars for my few shares). So take your made in the USA and put it where the sun ------.
The US auto companies wonder why they are struggling........
Forget it...my blood is boiling.

I am Thankfull for Walmart!!!!

Absolutely...I can't believe people support these guys by giving them their business. The local small business owners are toast.
